What are Angry Natives?

A collection of NFTs that have been hand-crafted in The Kingdom of Hawaii by artists Keoni Payton and Dante Orpilla. Each NFT has been explicitly created to deliver lifetime royalties to the Native Hawaiian communities in which they were created.

Why are they angry?

Their homelands were illegally occupied, their culture was misappropriated, and they’ve been prohibited from participating in most major crypto exchanges*. Being shut out of the largest creation of wealth in a generation would make anybody angry. They weren’t always this way. Buried deep beneath the pain and generational trauma they are still are a Happy people, but like our homelands, that happiness is just displaced at the moment.
